The Freak Primo has been constructed with what Miken is calling a 4-piece design. However, the basic components of that design will be a composite barrel and a composite handle that are fused together at a connection point. This construction will give the bat the “flex” feel that most slow pitch softball players desire. That feel is aided by Miken’s Sensi-Flex technology that ensures an efficient energy transfer from the batter’s hands to the barrel. Ultimately, Miken says that the addition of Sensi-Flex tech helps improve bat speed while also reducing annoying vibrations that can sometimes get down to the batter’s hands.
The Tetra-Core technology incorporated into the bat’s composite barrel is also a significant selling point. This technology involves an inner barrel tube and an outer barrel layer working together to achieve optimal performance when hitting a softball. With this advancement, the bat is likely to perform at the highest allowable performance level without exceeding it, and it requires very little break-in time. Additionally, the A1 Knob is slightly smaller than a traditional knob, allowing batters to easily lay their bottom finger[s] over it for added leverage when swinging.

For those with a robust swing, this USA-approved slow pitch bat is worth considering. Miken’s Maxload feature gives it a slightly end-loaded feel, making it an excellent choice for power hitters. If you’re a contact hitter looking to experiment with a heavier bat, this one is also worth considering. Although the bat has a noticeable loaded feel, it is not overly overwhelming.

Warranty
Miken is willing to offer a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this bat. If you have purchased the bat from us and notice a defect on the bat within that original 12 month time period, please reach out to our Bat Experts. They will be happy to get you all the information needed to reach out to Miken to begin the warranty replacement process.
An important thing to remember is that Miken will not accept a bat back for a warranty replacement if it does not have the original serial sticker with it. Because of that, be sure that you save the serial sticker that comes on the bat’s taper when it is first delivered.
