DeMarini stuck with their bread and butter when building this Prism+ and they kept the Gapped Barrel Technology that made the original Prism so successful. However, with this Prism+, they have retrofitted the supporting elements that went around the Gapped Barrel Tech on that first Prism.
To start things off, they create this 2-piece bat with the Continuous Fiber Composite material. This material allows extra weight to be added to key areas of the barrel. By strategically adding the weight in those areas, DeMarini increases the power potential of the bat, but keeps it balanced in its feel. As well, DeMarini updated the connection piece on the bat. This bat will display the Type V Connection that should support the Gapped Barrel Tech really well by maximizing barrel performance + creating an incredible feel at contact. And lastly, the bat will be topped off by the Refract End Cap that will assist the Continuous Fiber Barrel in keeping the bat as balanced as possible in its feel.
